The Lowe Alpine Saracen is one of the largest issue backpack of the Dutch army, it has a well rounded size, durability and delivers in all aspects and if we look at the functions of the Lowe Alpine Saracen this tactical military backpack like all the preferences of all our employees.
OUT OF STOCK
An excellent example for those seeking the durability, reliability and robustness of a military issued item, these are a bargain for those seeking a value for money item which will guarentee a good rate of return in terms of comfort, expandability, durability and overall in all aspects, these have been a favourite of hillwalkers and backpackers for years,
This Bergen is simply the opposite of a “no-frills” rucksack in the sense it is “all-frills”!
It has loads and loads of compressions straps should you need to compress your kit down, it also has a MOLLE system on the back for attaching further bits of equipment, this makes this Bergen one of the most expandable system simply with the fact that most well-known brands are producing a wide range of accessories in MOLLE and this mounting system is secure and re-arrangeable to suit your mission needs and requirements.
As a Bergen it is phenomenal, just below the detachable 10 pouches on either side there is a pocket that was initially designed for attaching skis etc and the skis will be held in place, these will also suit a bivi-pole or 2 quite well, a bivi pole can be secure in place and the security of a zipped-up pouch means it won’t get lost.
The Lowe Alpine Saracen also features a floating lid, which means it can “float” rather than hinging, the advantage is if you pack your Bergen really full you can simply put your lid on top and then you can further compress it down and it puts pressure directly on whatever is below your lid forcing it into the Bergen at the right angle.
The Lowe Alpine Saracen consists of a lower and an upper compartment separated by a partition with a pull cord. The hood of the Lowe Alpine Saracen has two zippered access to the side of the outside and inside.
The top lid compartment is accessible from both sides which is a bonus if your Bergen is lying on either side and you need to access your kit.
Another main feature is the back-adjustment system, which is also unique to this design, it is adaptable of anyone of any height, also featuring a generously comfortable hip-padded belt and wide shoulder straps to ensure ultimate comfort on the move.
There is a separate comportment at the bottom of the rucksack which can be ideally delegated for simply carrying for sleeping bag, bivi, poncho/basha etc also has internal compression straps.
In short, this is a well thought out piece of equipment which has been carefully designed for the tactical minded individual.
Mounting options for pickles, poles, skis, etc with many straps, extra equipment, such as attaching a sleeping mat, everywhere there are loops to attach to more equipment.
Obviously Lowe Alpine Saracen has a good fit because the back is adjustable in length.
As you would expect from this high-end military backpacks Lowe Alpine, this combined with the heavy-duty durability and perfect finish is a good choice in military situations.
